Top French colt Brametot clashes with Eminent at Deauville

Dual Classic hero Brametot is the star attraction in the Prix Guillaume d'Ornano at Deauville on Tuesday.
Jean-Claude Rouget's colt claimed narrow victories in both the French 2000 Guineas and the French Derby and returns from a two-month break for this 10-furlong Group Two.
Brametot is jointly owned by Al Shaqab Racing and Gerard Augustin-Normand.
Sylvain Vidal, racing manager for the latter, said: "He is a very good horse and Jean-Claude is very happy with him.
"We'll make plans after tomorrow, but I know Jean-Claude is thinking of sending him straight for the Arc.
"We'll have to see how he runs and Al Shaqab own 55 per cent of the horse, so they will also be a big part of making the decision."
Brametot heads an eight-strong field in the 1m 1f 207y event, which is live on Racing UK, with Sylvester Kirk's Salouen and the Martyn Meade-trained Eminent carrying British hopes.
Eminent has finished sixth in the 2000 Guineas, fourth in the Derby and fifth in the Coral-Eclipse this season and will be partnered by Ryan Moore for the first time.
"He's had a bit of a break since the Eclipse and we're pleased with him," said Meade.
"The thinking behind bringing him for this race is that it will just take a bit of pressure off him a little bit.
"We were thinking of going for the Juddmonte International, but that would be putting the pressure back on him again and hopefully running in a Group Two with a small field, he'll have a slightly easier time.
"Hopefully we get some good ground and it will act as a confidence booster for him."
Andre Fabre saddles four runners in Mask Of Time, Last Kingdom, Avilius and Soleil Marin.
Recoletos, third in the French Derby and trained by Carlos Laffon-Parias, completes the line-up.
