3.05 Punchestown: Simply Natural
Simply Natural possibly lacks experience, compared to some of her rivals, with just two starts over hurdles. However, she does carry forward plenty of experience from bumpers.
She's finished runner-up on both hurdle starts, and has performed to a good level on each occasion. A strong traveller, she'll be suited by the big field, and likely high tempo.
With a feather-weight (she's in receipt of weight all-round), I think she can make that count here.

4.15 Punchestown: Doctor Steinberg
He's pulled far too hard on each of his past two outings. Over 2m6f in the Nathaniel Lacy & Partners Solicitors Novice Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival he was able to overcome this, and ran out an impressive winner, but when upped to this trip in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival, he was simply too energy inefficient.
The fitting of a first-time hood could well provide the solution, and if it does, he's comfortably the best horse in this field.
4.50 Punchestown: Dromard
Weatherbys Champion Bumper winner The Mourne Rambler carries the best form into this race. However, Dromard produced a visually devastating display when winning by a wide margin at Gowran Park in March - impressing with how he continually quickened all the way to the line.
He's sure to have improved for that experience, and I think he can overturn the favourite.
