Diamond Du Berlais is the best jumper in this field according to the RaceiQ numbers and ran a cracker when sixth in the Mares’ Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham last time, having been only fourteenth with three furlongs left to run.
She had previously won easily at Ludlow, when her fluent jumping over the final three flights gained her almost 11 lengths.

The Paul Nolan-trained six-year-old has got a respectable Career Jump Index of 7.3 out of 10 and his high Finishing Speed Percentages reflect he’s been running in steadily run races that have not go to the bottom of him. First-time cheekpieces are also an interesting addition.

The prolific nine-year-old will be hard to beat in his hat-trick attempt if jumping with similar fluency, with connections adding first-time blinkers into the equation to help sharpen him up.
