Veteran jockey
John Egan is set for a short spell on the sidelines after suffering injury at Kempton on Wednesday.
Egan was stood down after taking just one ride and will not be taking up his booked rides at Newbury this afternoon.
The rider's agent, Steven Croft, said: "John injured his thumb at Kempton the other day and it's still not 100 per cent.
"He's not riding today and he's suspended on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.
"Hopefully he'll be back on Wednesday."
