1.45 Ayr: Woohoo
This mare has been a revelation since joining Jim Goldie having scored four times, and a 5lb rise for her recent success is unlikely to stop her winning again.
She is still only rated 68 and has been very well placed by her shrewd trainer. Her amateur rider takes 5lb off her back, too, and she should have the edge over some inconsistent, and out of form rivals.
3.30 Ayr: Theoryofeverything
Theoryofeverything made a pleasing seasonal return when a well-backed fourth behind Great Chieftain at Haydock. He travelled strongly that day and was only beaten a length and a half in fourth.
This is a weaker contest and if he has come on for that outing, he will be hard to beat. My confidence would increase if the ground was soft , but he handles a faster surface, and from a good draw in stall two, he looks to be the answer in this competitive handicap.
3.45 Market Rasen: Prospect House
This seven-year-old is a
Market Rasen specialist, with all three of his wins coming at this track under William Maggs, who is aboard again on Sunday. He could only finish second to a well-treated rival here last time out, but still shaped as if in good form.
This is a weak class 5 handicap chase, and the return to two miles at this track can see him regain the winning thread.
4.20 Market Rasen: Nickleforce
Nickleforce arrives here in good form having been unlucky not to win last time out at Stratford. He was consistently hampered in the home straight and was forced to swerve round the water jump on the run in.
A cleaner trip would have seen him score, and he has the look of a well-treated handicap chaser. He should run a big race for trainer Ben Case.
