Sizzling will be widely expected to open her account in the Loder Irish EBF Fillies Race at the Curragh on Sunday.
The daughter of Galileo shaped like a typical Aidan O'Brien-trained newcomer on her introduction the Curragh in June, doing her best work at the finish after a slow start to finish a highly promising third.
She was unsurprisingly a warm order on her next start at Newmarket's July meeting and while she came up short, finishing second, the form looks rock solid with the third (Juliet Capulet), fourth (Jousi) and sixth (Roulette) winning since.
Sizzling let down favourite-backers for the second time at the Galway Festival, but was not disgraced in finishing third and back on a more conventional track, she will surely prove extremely hard to beat in the hands of Ryan Moore.
O'Brien and Moore with the stoutly-bred Mendelssohn in the Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital Irish EBF Maiden.
The son of Scat Daddy is a half-brother to the American wonder mare Beholder, who won 11 times at the top level in her homeland.
The Coolmore team went to $3million to secure his services as a yearling, but he was a 10-1 shot for his Curragh debut a month ago and performed accordingly, finishing eighth.
Unless one of the newcomers is above average, this one-mile contest looks an ordinary affair and plenty will fancy Mendelssohn to leave that initial effort way behind him.
Proceedings get under way with the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden, in which Brick By Brick sets a fair standard.
Jessica Harrington's youngster has filled the runner-up spot on three of his four starts to date, going down by a neck and a short head the last twice.
There is nothing wrong with his attitude and he deserves a change of luck.
Sean Davis rode two winners at Galway last week and looks to have a good chance of adding to his tally aboard Aggression for Michael O'Callaghan in the Mongey Communications Apprentice Handicap.
The consistent Snowstar and Flawlessly, a winner on her last start at Redcar before moving to Ireland to join Sheila Lavery, look the main dangers.
The Gabriel Curran Memorial Handicap brings the card to a close.
Michael Halford's Vincy makes his first appearance since winning at Dundalk in March and does not face a straightforward task, with Windsor Beach, Cirin Toinne, Aared and St Gallen all arriving off the back of decent efforts.
