Sedgefield announces second inspection

This afternoon's jumps meeting at Sedgefield must pass a second course inspection at 9.30am.Course officials must assess conditions later in the morning after a first inspection at 7.30am found that "some areas of filled ground (are)currently frozen". Temperatures have dropped to as low as minus 3C, but it is forecast to rise about freezing after 9am, with a maximum daytime high of 4C. The going is soft, good to soft in places.
