2.10 Leopardstown: Collecting Coin
Jennie Candlish's stable has worked wonders with Collecting Coin since purchasing him out of Jessica Harrington's yard a couple of months ago, scoring impressively on his stable debut at Chester and then he improved again when second in a competitive race back at that track last time.
He did particularly well there considering he had to be dropped out from a tough draw in stall 13, and I think a further 3lb rise leaves him on an attractive mark plus he should get a lovely trip through this race from stall 7.
I also believe there's plenty more to come from him now he's thriving for his new handler, and Billy Lee has to go down as a positive jockey booking, given the wealth of experience he has around Leopardstown.
At odds of 8-1, at the time of writing, I'm backing him each-way.
2.45 Leopardstown: Green Dreamer
Darkness Falls is hot at the top of the betting for this newly-formed Group One juvenile contest over nine furlongs, but I'm not certain what he achieved when dominating a maiden last time in an ordinary time, so I'm happy to oppose him at the price.
Green Dreamer actually had the favourite behind when he opened his account at this track in July, and he then progressed again, despite looking unsuited by a drop to 7f in the Futurity Stakes when he finished fast, covering each of the last three furlongs quicker than anything else in the field having initially been outpaced.
On that evidence, he ought to relish this longer distance, and 11-2 just looks too big a price about a progressive colt who arguably has the best form in the book.

3.15 Leopardstown: Green Impact (each-way)
Purview may be destined for the top, and I can't knock him this season, especially given his winning form has worked out very well, but this is another case of being happy to see him win at relatively short odds, and giving weight to Green Impact isn't going to be an easy task.
Jessica Harrington's four-year-old won at this meeting as a juvenile, and in four visits to Leopardstown he's won three plus was only denied in a photo finish by the classy Ethical Diamond last time out, a performance that's up there with his best ever, in my opinion.
He's only tried a-mile-and-a-half a couple of times, but I think he wants this trip nowadays, and at 8-1, at the time of writing, he looks significantly overpriced.
He's my nap of the day.
