Saturday tips: Johnny Ward's best bets for the Curragh and Killarney

Irish racing expert Johnny Ward shares his tips for both Irish meetings on Saturday, headlined by a fascinating card at the Curragh as well as jumps action from Killarney. Enjoy every moment live on Racing TV and Racing TV Extra.
The Curragh is again doing its bit to entice people today, with a competitive €25 bundle augmented by what is a really high-quality card at Flat headquarters.
The opening maidens are worth lots of study, neither especially solid for a bet, and Aidan O'Brien's love affair with No Nay Never two-year-olds is a feature of the card.
Showers are expected to help the ground at Killarney, where Brian Cooper riding twice for Willie Mullins is one of the talking points.

3.20 Killarney: Finest Evermore

These are much of a muchness and Finest Evermore is the class act.
Winner of her first three races for Willie Mullins, her fourth to Royal Kahala in December - staying on strongly to finish a place behind Telmestomethinggirl - is outstanding form in this context.
She made a mistake that ended her chance late on at Galway and this is much easier.
3.45 Curragh: Thornbrook

Finished: 3rdSP: 12/1
I'd probably have a saver on Meditate at the odds, but Thornbrook looks the value at the prices here.
One of two Saxon Warriors in this race, her family is littered with winners and she looked classy at Leopardstown despite very much being ridden for education. I certainly can't put her in at much longer than Olivia Maralda in the betting, as the bookmakers do here.
