2.10 Perth: Bel Ombre
A good winner at Taunton over 2m3f on his latest start, and while his winning margin was just three lengths, he was value for much more.
His obvious rise in the handicap since was forthcoming, although it's notable that this shrewd yard didn't turn him out under a penalty, which suggest there's plenty more to come.
Going right-handed on a sound surface clearly suits, and he is Neil Mulholland's only runner who makes the long journey North from his West Country base, which is surely a tip in itself.
2.40 Perth: Letterson Lily
The form of her penultimate start, when fourth over this trip at Cheltenham, strongly suggests that she's better than her rating of 112.
Her latest run can also be forgiven as the drop in trip worked against her, and she's been off the track for a long time since.
Mickey Bowen has endured a tough first winter as a trainer, with winners hard to come by, but this family operation thrive in the summer, and Perth has been a happy hunting ground for them.
3.40 Perth: American Mike
Has had just three starts for Olly Murphy since moving from Gordon Elliott at the start of this season, and was third on his first chase start for the yard over an inadequate 2m4f when beaten 15 lengths by Twinjets. He was also conceding 5lb to that rival, who is now rated 11lb higher.
American Mike was dropped 5lb for that effort, and ran well over hurdles at Wetherby on his latest start. If he's able to carry that form back to fences here, he's capable of winning this.
