Paul Nicholls considering Becher test at Aintree for Vicente

Paul Nicholls could give Vicente another chance to prove himself over the Grand National fences in next month's Randox Health Becher Chase.
The eight-year-old fell at the first fence in the Aintree marathon in April before going on to win the Scottish Grand National at Ayr for the second successive year later in the month.

After finishing second on his seasonal return at Cheltenham on Saturday, the Trevor Hemmings-owned gelding could now return to the Merseyside track to tackle the Grade Three prize on December 9.
The Ditcheat handler said: "He ran a blinder in that ground, which he doesn't like, and we know he is better on better ground.
"He is in the Becher Chase and he is also in the Ladbrokes Trophy in two weeks, but that will probably come too quick.
"I've got three or four which could be proper National horses which is quite exciting.
"He did fall at the first fence in the National this year and he is not always the most clever jumper, but he jumped well at Cheltenham and Harry [Cobden] said he would love to ride him over those fences.
"If he went to the Becher and hated those fences, we would know to train him for Ayr again as that is the other long-term option."
