Limato is on target for the Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan on Dubai World Cup night.Henry Candy's impressive July Cup winner was last seen finishing sixth in the Breeders' Cup Mile. His experimentation over that distance appears over, though, with Candy keen to keep him sprinting this season. "He's well. He frightened me yesterday when he gave a few coughs, but we scoped him this morning and he was clear so it must have just been a little bit of kick-back," Candy told At The Races. "He's in marvellous form and the plan would be to go for the Al Quoz Sprint on March 25 if he's OK in the meantime."We went west in the autumn, but that didn't work so we'll go east in the spring and see if that does.I've not had a runner out there, but I have been out. "I think the horse will be fit enough, he'll have just the usual prep and go out eight days before. "Luckily it's on the grass, over six furlongs and it's a Group One. I think we'll stick to sprinting now unless anything untoward happens."I'm still convinced he stays a mile, but every time we try something goes wrong with the ground or the way the race is run and when you see what he did in the July Cup, I think that's what we should stick with."
