Grand National: Josh Stacey's predicted 1-2-3-4 plus Aintree best bet

I’ve gone for Grangeclare West to win the race. I was very impressed with him in the Bobbyjo, and whilst he has to defy a 3 lb higher mark than last year I think he can do that. He’s the one horse that I think we are yet to see the very best of in his career to date, and I think we could see that here.

Captain Cody’s best form was over four miles in the Scottish Grand National and with similar ground conditions here I think he’s crying out for this trip. You have to forgive him for his last run, but I think you can.

I Am Maximus won the race two years ago and was second last year, and I think he’s almost asgood as he’s ever been this season. That run at Christmas behind Affordale Fury at Leopardstown was huge.

And then Dan Skelton’s Panic Attack to finish fourth. I think she will travel into the race really nicely, and while I worry slightly about whether she will truly get home in a stamina test like this, I think if you’ve backed her you will be quite giddy at halfway.
