Irish racing expert Johnny Ward has four fancies at Leopardstown on Thursday, live on Racing TV, plus like the look of an Irish raider at Newbury.

5.15 Newbury: Honouramongthieves
Colin Keane had a nightmare trip at Killarney on this gambled-on sixth last time out. That was not the strongest contest, but one can only conclude from watching it that Kevin Coleman’s gelding is well-treated.
This 12-furlong race for three-year-old's at a galloping track looks a good move (the yard’s last runner was a winner at Goodwood), and Kieran Shoemark is booked to ride.
6.30 Leopardstown: Green Kite
I oppose Meriden with reluctance here, with her draw and the handicapper’s revenge rate both concerns.
Colin Keane has ridden for Kevin Coleman 23 times, with 11 of those finishing in the first four. I was working at Killarney when Green Kite finished second in a maiden in October, a somewhat flattering second, but the winner is solid, and rated 88.
The selection managed to get dropped 4lb to 61, despite a fine run in a claimer at Gowran when last seen, and the form is working out nicely.
She looks ready to build on her handicap form for her in-form stable.
7.30 Leopardstown: Coeur d’Or
Down in grade, having finished a running-on third at the Curragh, he should have a great chance, given his liking for Leopardstown, retained mark and low draw.
I am somewhat surprised to see the visor replace the blinkers, but who am I to question Dermot Weld? June has been good for the master of Rosewell.
Everything suggests the drying ground will not suit Abbey Actress, and this is fairly weak contest for the grade, so Coeur d'Or is the pick.
8.00 Leopardstown: Lamberella
Having shown promise in maidens, I tipped this filly at the Curragh when, sent off at 25-1, she was never involved on handicap debut, but was beaten under six lengths, and was not given the hardest time.
Most notably, her one visit to Leopardstown saw her finish under ten lengths behind Skydance, and a runner-up called Thundering On. In seventh that day was Elmakaya, just touched off when gambled on in a Naas maiden next time out.
Both of Lamberella's elder siblings have won and, off 71 (dropped 3lb from the Curragh) for her excellent trainer, she appeals. Presumably Luke McAteer cannot do this weight, so Nathan Crosse takes the ride.

8.30 Leopardstown: Roderick
Paul Sweeney’s last runner was a 14-1 chance at Leopardstown, who finished fourth in a handicap. Roderick has been ridden three times by Shane Foley, finishing second or beaten under two lengths each time.
He looked to finish with gas left at Gowran Park when last seen and, with such a liking for yielding ground, he makes plenty of appeal here off just 47, at the likely odds, and few of his rivals are solid.
