He was consistently denied a run from three furlongs out and only got a gap when the race was over, while he was a little unlucky on his previous start at where a slow start meant he was a hostage to the pace of the race and that was a steady one which left him poorly placed.

Knightswood now drops down to the 0-90 bracket after his previous effort in a 0-105 contest and he can make amends now.

I think he's set to continue to progress. 

Lennon showed very little in three runs last year but, running for the first time in a handicap on his seasonal reappearance, he won in workmanlike fashion at in a race that was not run to suit.

makes his way to Pontefract to ride for George Boughey and the journey can prove worthwhile aboard this three-year-old, who has only been raised 4lbs for that latest success.
