Horse racing tips for Tuesday: Dave Nevison's best bets

Our betting expert found 11-1 winner La Hacienda on Saturday and has three selections for the meeting at Hamilton Park, live on Racing TV.

Is running off the same mark and in the same grade for the third time but may still be the improver here judged on his two runs this season.
Calypso ran well to be third at Haydock last time out but his finishing effort certainly seemed to indicate that he would be much better off over the extra furlong he gets here.
He couldn’t go the early pace at all at Haydock but was staying on notably well in the second half of the race and the climb up the hill at Hamilton will probably suit very well. The James Ferguson/ Daniel Muscott partnership is one of the positive features of this season.

Since joining Tristan Davidson this mare has become a Hamilton specialist with three wins at this course as well as several of her best placed efforts.
Although she has previously run good races at Carlisle, she now loves this place and operates at a different level here.
She began winning here off 62 last spring and has been very well campaigned as a sprint handicapper – scoring off 64 when she won on her penultimate start.
She won by three lengths on that occasion, so a rise of 6lb is to be expected and looks workable. Rowan Scott has clicked with her in the past.

Red Allure is obviously a low-grade sprinter who has been around a while but looks the most interesting on the card.
She is running for the first time for Adrian Nicholls after a seven-week break and that looks enough time for this eight-year-old mare to settle in to the bang in form trainer’s yard.
She looks the type that Nicholls could get a couple of wins out of as she is now 4lb below her last winning mark, which came at this track and was her second course and distance success.
Red Allure has raced relatively few runs on turf but clearly acts on it so might well have improvement on the surface. She has a very good draw in the middle of the track and looks set to lead. Hopefully she can land another course success.
