Horse racing tips for Sunday: Angus McNae's best bets

In-form tipster Angus McNae selected three winners in his racingtv.com tipping column last week and expects it to be a successful day for Willie Mullins at Fairyhouse on Sunday.
Three winners last week from four selections was a nice start to the New Year, and hopefully I can keep the momentum up this week.
I have another quartet of selections for you, which all run at Fairyhouse where I believe Willie Mullins will have a good day.
In the past fortnight, he has been operating at a strike-rate of 29 per cent, and that could be enhanced on Sunday afternoon.
Best of luck, and don’t forget to watch every race live on Racing TV.
This filly, who is related to some useful National Hunt types, has plenty of scope for improvement on what is just her fourth start over hurdles.
She won easily on her debut at Killarney before disappointing when favourite at Listowel, but got back on track when third in a Grade Three at Fairyhouse last time out behind the useful Fil Dor.
She would have finished closer there had she jumped better and in this easier grade, I can see her jumping holding up. If so, she will be hard to beat.
The drop-in grade is the key here, aligned to the superb form of the yard.
I like this horse dropping into a handicap for his first start of the season. He has kept good company in all of his five chase starts and this will be the easiest task he has faced for a while.
He was thought good enough to run in the Marsh Novices’ Chase at the Cheltenham Festival last season where he was unable to compete with the likes of Chantry House and Asterion Forlonge.
He has had a break since then and starts the season off at a realistic level. This trip on soft ground is ideal for him and off a rating of 151, he can outclass his rivals.
This gelding makes his chasing debut here and if he can reproduce anything like his decent hurdles form, he will win.
He was a very good second in the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival off a rating of 139 last season and that followed a good second to the useful Quilixios in a Grade One at Leopardstown.
As long as his jumping holds up, he will be very hard to beat here and is my idea of the best bet of the day.

19:15 Kilbeggan - Saturday August 7
Spades Are Trumps impressed at Kilbeggan in August
This horse won his Beginners Chase very easily at Kilbeggan two starts ago before finding life too tough in the Cork Grand National when sent of the 5-1 joint-favourite.
Back in calmer waters in a Novice Chase here, he will take some beating. Gavin Cromwell has his horses in fine form and I expect this strong-travelling nine-year-old to bounce back from that disappointing effort last time out.
