Betting expert Dave Nevison is sweet on a trio runnning at Ayr. Watch how his selections fare on Racing TV. 1.35 Ayr: Burning It Up
Dominic Hislop got on well with this six-year-old last time out and his 8lb claim against fellow conditionals can help
Burning It Up gain a first win.
He was narrowly beaten at Newcastle last time but was 11 lengths clear of the third home. The winner of that race has gone in again since, franking the form.
Cheekpieces seemed to have a hugely positive effect last time and Nick Alexander is sticking with them.
3.05 Ayr: From The Clouds
From The Clouds has come late to chasing but his two runs over fences have been encouraging.
The nine-year-old jumped well in a much higher-grade non-handicap last time out, finishing a creditable fourth. His had also been a good second on his chasing debut here.
This is a lower grade handicap than last time, and he has the size and scope to defy top weight, especially with his 5lb claiming rider reducing the burden.
3.35 Ayr: Kasanova’s Dream
This Gordon Elliott-trained raider has more improvement in him and can land this moderate staying handicap and with champion jockey Sean Bowen in the saddle.
First-time blinkers brought about improvement last time from Kasanova’s Dream when he was sixth, only weakening before the last in that. A good run here looks assured.
