Horse racing tips for Saturday: Dave Nevison's best bets

Betting expert Dave Nevison tipped Beccara Rose (11-2) and Real Gain (11-4) from three selections on Friday and has four fancies for Saturday's action - including two in the bet365 Cambridgeshire - across Newmarket and Haydock. You can enjoy both fixtures live on Racing TV, and if you haven't already, don't forget to take advantage of the free one-month trial Racing TV are offering!
Manila Scouse won over this course and distance in July, and in conditions similar what he is going to face here, before following up off the same mark at Chepstow.
He had excuses and ran much better than his form figures suggest on his next two starts before showing his true colours last time out with an excellent third at York.
He looks ready to win again here with ground to suit. A 2lb higher mark will not make too much difference to a sprinter in good form, and I don't expect the weight to play that much of a part, either.
Dual Identity finished third in the Cambridgeshire last year but was first home in his group on the wrong side, despite having nothing to race against in the closing stages, which made it a remarkable performance.
He has hit form at exactly the right time to give it another and although he was raised 8lb following a spectacular success at Sandown last time out, he's only rated 4lb higher this year.
He looks as though he is an improved performer this time around, too, and this unique nine-furlong test clearly suits him very well.
Oviedo is trained by Ed Bethell, which is pretty much a tip in itself this season, and won the Zetland Gold Cup in May plus finished a good second in a strong handicap at York when returning to handicap company last time out.
His form reads as though he will be suited by dropping down a furlong and he's gradually improved this season, so is another who is worth siding with in this competitive contest.
Scored over this trip on the July course this summer, his first victory for over two years, and was raised 6lb for that effort, but has acquitted himself well in three races since.
He may have got lucky here in a handicap that doesn't look as competitive as it should, and Star Of Orion has finished behind in-form rivals on his past two starts.
Hopefully, his outside draw in stall 10 won't mean he is isolated here, but he has a terrific chance to strike again at Newmarket, and looks the clear form pick.
