Horse racing tips: Angus McNae's best bets for Sunday on Racing TV

I was impressed with this horse when he won a juvenile hurdle last time out, and this novices' hurdle looks to be within his grasp.

He was a six-length winner at Fontwell in February where he travelled fluently, and jumped well.

That was only his second start in the UK having joined Tom Symonds after showing plenty of ability in France. He is clearly open to improvement and this is not a strong race, so he looks sure to go well.

This French recruit is just the type that Willie Mullins excels with.

Formerly with Guillame Macaire and not seen since October 2018, it is interesting that the Mullins team have persisted with this gelding, and this is a modest event for him to contest on his return to action.

He had two starts in France, winning on his debut before finishing second at Auteuil to Farinet, who subsequently joined Venetia Williams and has run well off a rating of 125.

That suggests that this is a horse who is more than capable of winning a maiden hurdle, and should prove hard to beat here.

Willie Mullins has a number of good chances at Leopardstown on Sunday, and Klassy Kay looks sure to run well.

She was a four-length winner of a handicap hurdle at Punchestown last time out where she travelled strongly and quickened clear in impressive fashion.

The handicapper has raised her 11lbs for that win, but I do not think that will stop her scoring again.

Paul Townend rides her and he has a 22 per cent strike-rate at Punchestown. The selection looks sure to go well and is worth supporting.

This mare bounced back to form in no uncertain terms at Plumpton last time out and can win again here turned out under a 7lb penalty.

She cruised to a 12-length victory in that race off a mark of 90, and the penalty she shoulders here should be no barrier to success.

We know she goes well at this track having won here in 2019, and it seems to be a sensible move to run her under a penalty given the manner of her success last time. She rates as a confident selection.
