Our presenter and columnist Angus McNae is back with his Sunday selections, focusing on the good card at Navan with another fancy at Sandown. Enjoy every moment live on Racing TV and Racing TV Extra.
He was very impressive when bolting up on hurdling debut at Punchestown. He jumped well, made all and was merely nudged out under a hands and heels ride to beat the quite useful Barbados. He looked every inch a graded stakes performer and this step up to Grade 3 level should not be a problem.
My Mate Mozzie faces some pace pressure from Lady Lingo, but I don't think he needs to lead as he showed when finishing second in a maiden on the Flat two starts ago at Ballinrobe. The guide price of 6/4 seems to be about right about this exciting recruit to the hurdling game.
Influential Lady is on hat-trick after an impressive win at Thurles last time. She has been raised 9lb for that success, but that should not stop her.
Her latest success was most taking. She travelled smoothly, overcame trouble in running and stormed clear to win with plenty in hand. That was a handicap confined to mares and she has to take on the boys here, but she looks well up to the task.
Influential Lady is put in at a guide price of 13/2 which, for a rapidly improving mare in this company, looks very fair.
I am not yet prepared to give up on this horse over hurdles. If he can put it all together here, he is clearly handicapped to win.
On To Victory races off a mark of 126 yet he is effective on the Flat off marks in the low 100s. That makes him the best-treated horse in this race.
He already has form over hurdles to suggest he is useful at this discipline. A win at Warwick last season - folllowed by a decent third here at Sandown in a competitive handicap - show that he is more than capable of winning a race like this.
While he's not yet as good over hurdles as on the Flat, he is relatively unexposed at this game and at 5/2 he is worth supporting.
This beginners chase looks to be within the grasp of Buddy Rich given his excellent second to the very smart Third Time Lucki at Cheltenham.
That was his fourth second in a row over fences, yet he has done little wrong on each occasion. He is a sound jumper and at around 5/1 makes some appeal.
Ballyadam will be favourite, but he fell heavily on his chasing debut and is no certainty to produce a clean round of jumping. Buddy Rich looks to be the one to take advantage of any chinks in his armour and rates as a solid play.
