Hidden Cyclone set Galway goal by Shark Hanlon

Hidden Cyclone is set to be prepared for a third crack at the Galway Hurdle after proving the fire still burns bright with victory at Leopardstown on Sunday.
Shark Hanlon's stable stalwart has finished fourth and second in the last two renewals of the lucrative summer handicap at Ballybrit and has enjoyed another fine campaign.
The 12-year-old dug deep to see off the strong-travelling Bonbon Au Miel over the weekend to claim the 17th victory of his career and Hanlon is now plotting a return to Galway.
He said: "He was brilliant again on on Sunday. He's a 12-year-old now and has every reason in the book to throw the towel in, but he didn't.
"The horse still thinks he's a five-year-old and he's just in great form with himself.
"We had the race picked out a good while as I thought the conditions would suit him and I'm not sure where we'll go next.
"He's been second and fourth in the last two Galway Hurdles and I'd love to have another go at it. I think he's entitled to go there.
"We'll probably only give him two runs before then. I have it in my mind we could go back over fences and there's a good hurdle race for him at Fairyhouse over Easter.
"We'll keep him ticking over as it's hard to let off a horse of his age."
While Hidden Cyclone will not be in action at next week's Cheltenham Festival, Hanlon still hopes to be represented.
Magna Cartor is set to line up as a huge outsider for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle, but the trainer has higher hopes for Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle contender Linger.
"Linger hasn't done much wrong and has won his last two. He'll be an outsider but he's a good little horse and I think he'll give a good account of himself," said Hanlon.
"The owners are keen to run Magna Cartor in the Supreme and we're also taking a very nice Stowaway mare called Posh Trish for the sale during the Festival.
"She won a point-to-point on Sunday by 17 lengths and is an exciting mare."
