The jumps meeting at Hereford on Sunday has been abandoned. Clerk of the course Rebecca Davies initially called an inspection for 8am on raceday morning, but that was brought forward in light of a worsening forecast. Although frost covers had been deployed on all take-offs and landings, as well as other vulnerable areas, the track was still frozen in places when Davies assessed conditions on Saturday afternoon. And with temperatures forecast to drop to as low as minus 6C overnight, the situation was deemed untenable.
