Hayley Turner excited by new opportunities in France

Hayley Turner is excited to be riding at Saint-Cloud on Thursday as she makes use of the weight allowance to available to female riders in France.
Britain's most successful woman jockey has been tempted to try her hand after the French authorities announced the controversial measure of a 4.4lb advantage for horses ridden by women.
It was introduced in February and has caused plenty of debate.
Turner has three mounts for Chantilly trainer Francis Graffard. She partners Premier Consul in the Prix de Vicq over a mile, Pika's Traverse in the Prix Casterari over an extended mile and a quarter and Mr Maximum in the mile and three-quarter Prix D'Elancourt.
Ladbrokes make Turner Evens to ride five or more winners in France this year, while ten or more winners is 3-1.
"Herve Naggar, who is helping me out as my agent, got me the rides. I've already been over and ridden out for Francis and he's giving me a bit of a kick start," she said.
"I don't know much about the horses I'm riding, but that's not really a problem. I've spent most of my life getting on horses I don't know.
"It's exciting and obviously I'll do my homework on them. I'm going over Wednesday evening to go and ride work for Francis on the Thursday morning before Saint-Cloud. These are the first rides I've got so far.
"I actually had a winner there for Nicolas Clement a few years ago, so I'm not a complete novice there.
"I've got to learn about the tracks and watch as much racing there as I can."
Joint champion apprentice in 2005, Turner was the first woman to ride 100 winners in a year and is a three-time winner at the top level.
Since retiring at the end of 2015, Turner has been working for At The Races and ITV Racing and has made several comebacks in the saddle.
She has had three winners this year and competed in the Shergar Cup at Ascot this month.
