Harry Fry is keen to bide his time with
Kylemore Lough after the Grade One-winning chaser was pulled up at
Cheltenham on Saturday.
The eight-year-old was sent off the 4-1 favourite for the BetVictor Gold Cup on what was his first outing for Fry's Dorset operation, having previously been in the care of Kerry Lee.
But Kylemore Lough made a bad error at the water jump and was pulled up before the penultimate fence by jockey Noel Fehily.
Fry said: "That (mistake) didn't help, but he's absolutely fine, and that's the main thing.
"We'll just let the dust settle first and then work out where we'll go with him in the next couple of weeks."
