Harry Bentley: Two good rides on Saturday after Limato high

Harry Bentley is on cloud nine after his victory aboard Limato at Newmarket on Friday and gives the latest on his Saturday rides and picks out his winner of th Dewhurst Stakes.
It was a such a great feeling to have Limato show what he is capable of at Newmarket on Friday.
He felt brilliant. I was very happy with him the whole way and how he travelled into the race.
My job was made pretty easy. It was just a matter of pushing the button and he kicked on really well. All the conditions suited him.
We’ve had a frustrating time with him. I knew there was a big race in him.
I always thought seven furlongs was great for him, ever since I rode him in the Prix de la Foret for the first time at Longchamp when he was second in 2015.
I know Mr Candy has always thought a mile would be within his range. The way he stayed on there, it leads you to believe that a mile is definitely possible in the future.
There's definitely more exciting days to come with this horse. He's made a huge impact on my career
Saturday rides:
My two best rides on Saturday at York are probably Epic Fantasy in the Coral.co.uk ebfstalions.com Novice Stakes and Dark Liberty in the Coral Nursey Handicap.
I know Dark Liberty well, so I am hopeful of a big run. I think we were unlucky last time at Newmarket when we had our momentum checked coming out of the Dip.
I’m not saying we would have won, but we had to switch round the field and would have got a lot closer than half a length to today’s rival Awesometank.
I really think we can turn around the form and I think the step up to a mile will really suit.
I can’t say how Andrea Atzeni felt Awesometank finished the race, but we were coming back to them at the finish.

Epic Fantasy ran a really good race at Newbury on debut when just over eight lengths behind Dewhurst candidate Emaraaty last month. He made good headway, even though some of his rivals were beaten a long way out. I think there is plenty to build on and he will definitely be thereabouts.
Outback Traveller is an interesting runner in the Coral Sprint Trophy Handicap. He hasn’t won for over a year, but that success was off 100 in the Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot.
He beat subsequent Group One sprinter Brando that day and is he is 3lbs lower on Saturday. He put up a decent performance in the Wokingham in June but needs to step up on his recent efforts.

We have a good draw in 10, which is bang in the middle and gives me options.
Pulitzer has a fair chance against Shabaaby in the Coral.co.uk Rockingham Stakes. She won last time at Haydock very comfortably and did not appear to have a hard race. She beat ten others on soft ground that day, but I don’t think the drying ground at York will be a problem for her.
Shabaaby clearly has the best form, but his wins have come in small fields and he won last time by seven lengths but only beat three others. It is easy to get overexcited about such performances and sometimes horses like that simply don’t back up those runs.
My other two rides – Captain Navarre in the Coral Stayers Handicap and Mutarakez in the Coldstream Guards Association Handicap need to find a bit more on their recent form if they are going to trouble the judge.
Dewhurst Stakes:
Epic Fantasy obviously has form with John Gosden’s Dewhurst dark horse Emaraaty, who was so impressive at Newbury. I think he has a bit to do, however, because it is very difficult to get away from Expert Eye.

Obviously with two wins to his name it is easy to see why he is favourite, but it was the way he did it at Goodwood in the Vintage Stakes that was so impressive.
He picked up so well, and he put distance between him and the field very quickly. When you think that James Garfield, who was fourth, has gone on to be nosed out of the Acomb at York and then won the Group Two Mill Reef, the form looks rock solid.
As for the Cesarewitch, I do not have a strong opinion on it. I did really like Magic Circle, and regular readers of this column will know I have long thought the race would suit him – the distance will be no problem.
However, Callum Rodriguez has a tricky job from stall 30, which is a shocker.
