George Chaloner was taken to hospital for further treatment after he was unseated from a horse at Newcastle on Wednesday.Newcastle clerk of the course James Armstrong said the jockey had sustained a suspected leg or foot injury and was sent to the Royal Victoria Infirmary for X-rays.Armstrong said: " He was conscious, but he was in some degree of pain." Chaloner fell from Woodacre, who faltered approaching the final furlong and suffered a fatal injury in the opening mile-and-a-half handicap.
