Gary Moore has Exeter in mind for Ar Mad and Traffic Fluide

Gary Moore is looking at the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter as a possible starting point for Ar Mad and Traffic Fluide after the pair pleased the trainer in a schooling session on Friday morning.
The West Sussex trainer reports his star duo in good form after he took advantage of improved ground conditions to put them over a few obstacles in preparation for the season.
Ar Mad has not raced since finishing fourth to Un De Sceaux in the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown in December, while Traffic Fluide was last seen filling second spot behind Menorah in the Oaksey Chase at the same course in April.
"The schooling went well," said Moore.
"We'd had a good drop of rain so we had some nice, proper ground to give them a school. Touch-wood, they're coming on fine.
"The Haldon Gold Cup is probably one of the first races that Ar Mad can take in. If not, Traffic Fluide could also go in that.
"Traffic Fluide is still a novice over hurdles so there's no reason why he shouldn't do that."
Sire De Grugy, the 2014 Champion Chase winner, did not join his stable companions on Friday but had previously shown his well-being.
He has been out of action since unseating Jamie Moore in the Desert Orchid Chase last Christmas.
"Sire De Grugy didn't school on Friday but he has schooled already. It's a case of finding a race for him to run in," said Moore.
"It's not going to be easy. Whether he has a run back over hurdles or not, I don't know. He's in very good form."
