This afternoon's meeting at Huntingdon has been abandoned due to a frozen track.With overnight temperatures having plummeted to minus 6.7C, clerk of the course Jack Pryor was left with a fairly straightforward decision when he held an 8am inspection. Huntingdon's eight-race card was due to feature the Grade Two olbg.com mares' Hurdle, which was transferred to the Cambridgeshire circuit following the abandonment of Ascot last weekend. Huntingdon tweeted: "Despite all of the efforts from the grounds team, unfortunately racing is abandoned today due to a frozen track."
