1.40 Newmarket: Thunder Star

Thunder Star was a good third in this race last year off a 2lb higher mark and has a clear chance of winning it this time returning to the Rowley Mile for the first time since.
Jessica Macey’s mare has been on the go since early January but has been consistent after winning at Doncaster in March.
The five-year-old reacted well to blinkers for the first time when running a very good second at Yarmouth and can race off a 2lb lower mark courtesy of being dropped for a previous modest run.
The headgear has benn switched to a visor and, if having a similar affect, Thunder Star could gain her second victory of 2025.

3.22 Newmarket: Sea Suite

James Owen had three winners on Wednesday divided between Flat and Jumps and clearly has his string in excellent form, so he could be the man to go with in this tight handicap.
Perhaps surprisingly Owen has yet to get Sea Suite to click, having been bought out of Charlie Hills stable as a thrice-raced maiden.
The three-year-old ran well on his first two starts for his new yard and a repeat of his second to the useful Man Of La Mancha at Sandown, over a mile, would likely see him successful in this.
Sea Suite has disappointed on his past two starts but Owen is trying a visor for the first time off a 4lb lower mark. He’s worth another chance given the hot form of the yard.

3.57 Newmarket: Little Tiger

Little Tiger has been a beaten favourite on three of his past four starts.
However, the William Stone-trained gelding has run with credit each time and could have finished closer - and possibly won - but for not getting the breaks at Leicester last time.
He will be well suited by the strong pace in this big field and I will be surprised if he does not at least go close under Edward Greatrex, who won twice on him last season.
