2.05 Meydan: Commissioner King
This horse is top rated in this Group Three and can dominate this field.
He was a top performer in Saudi Arabia before transferring to the Bhupat Semar yard and is open to improvement given that this is only his fourth run for this stable.
He shaped well when finishing second to Imperial Emperor in the Al Maktoum Mile and with little pace pressure he can make all the running in a weak renewal of this race.

2.40 Meydan: Marbaan
Marbaan won this race last year beating Mysterious Night by a length and I expect him to win again.
He was too keen and fresh on his return to action and will strip fitter for that return performance. He has a high cruising speed which saw him run well when sixth in the Al Quoz sprint on world cup night last season and the Michael Costa in great form. He is the value in this race.
3.15 Meydan: El Nasseeb
El Nasseeb has won his past three starts and impressed when surging past Mufasa last time out to land the Dubawi Stakes. He takes on that rival once again and with plenty of early speed likely his late running style can propel him to success here.

4.25 Meydan: Walk Of Stars
I am taking Walk of Stars to reverse form with Heart Of Honor who beat him last time out In the Entisar. He will be fitter for the run and will be hard to catch as he figures to get his own way in front. He made all to win this last year and I expect a repeat performance.
5.00 Meydan: Opera Ballo
Opera Ballo is a superstar who has recorded some very fast times in his career and was impressive when winning here last time out. I believe he is on the path to Duty Free glory at the Dubai World Cup meeting and this is but a stepping stone to the big night.
