Our pundit and resident website tipster Dave Nevison fired in 8-1 and 7-1 winners on Thursday and likes runners at Kempton and Ludlow on Friday. Enjoy more action from Dundalk and Meydan live on Racing TV and Racing TV Extra.
Now a non-runner
Given the presence of so many lightly-raced improvers in this field I am hoping for an each-way price about this consistent eight-year-old, who certainly deserves to win a race on his two efforts this season.
It goes without saying that Venetia William’ horses are running well, though she will no doubt be concerned about too many second places. That is also an issue with Franco D’Aunou, who has still only won once and finished runner-up on several occasions, but I have no issue with his attitude as he went down by a nose first time up this season and improved again last time.
Franco D’Aunou is certainly proven fit while several of his fancied rivals are making their seasonal reappearances and that may give him an advantage, too.
He looks solid and might be a price.
He looks another top weight who might just be a slightly different grade to his rivals and has a lot in his favour here.
Master Grey ran well on latest Flat outing despite being dropped down to 10 furlongs, which is clearly too short for him. He is back up to two miles and contests a 0-55 handicap for the first time since he won in this grade at Lingfield back in August - and he followed that up with a good third in a slightly better race at Wolverhampton next time.
He ran in several races confined to apprentices and amateurs last year, but David Probert in the saddle here will not do him any harm either.
