Our pundit Dave Nevison shares his three best bets for Friday's action. Enjoy every moment from Exeter, Warwick, Dundalk and Meydan live on Racing TV and Racing TV Extra.
It will be a slog for all three of my selections on Friday, but all of them have shown that they do well with such a test and hopefully they will get through the conditions okay.
He is very well-in under a penalty and it will be disappointing if he doesn’t score again.
Coolvalla ran well under this rider on his handicap debut in a similar hands and heels event at Fontwell two starts ago before following up in pretty much effortless style in a race for professionals last time.
He seems to have very much benefitted from being dropped into handicaps as well as being upped to marathon trips on his last two starts. Coolvalla has even further to travel here and and on heavy ground, but if anything he was getting stronger at the end of the race last week and these extra stamina demands look unlikely to pose any issues.
He is still on the up judged by his latest run even though he couldn’t achieve the hat trick at Plumpton.
Dynmate Kentucky probably came up against a very progressive rival in Lanspark - who was well-handicapped and ridden by a good 7lbs claimer - and finished fully 13 lengths clear of the rest in second. He had previously won at Plumpton and started his winning run over this course and distance and this jockey, who gets on very well with him.
Perhaps surprisingly for one with a largely American pedigree, Dynamite Kentucky seems particularly well suited to a slog in very soft ground and even though he is upped in grade slightly he is at the right end of the weights for this test.
He looks to have a decent handicap in him over a marathon trip.
Pemberley might have been set to run his best race over fences last time at Lingfield, where he gave up the outside to no one but was still making headway behind the rapidly-improving The Galloping Bear before falling.
While his chasing career so far has been a bit disjointed with long gaps, Pemberley has been pretty consistent and largely jumped well. His rating has hovered around the same mark but I believe the recent step-up in trip is helping him show improvement.
Pemberley has a handy weight here and Emma Lavelle has had four winners from ten runners before racing on Thursday, so couldn’t be in better form.
