Frankie Dettori: I will never get fed up of watching Enable win the Arc

Frankie Dettori revealed at Ascot on Friday that he had rewatched replays of his record-breaking fifth Arc win aboard Enable "numerous times" and that he would never tire of watching the filly trounce her rivals.
The 46-year-old was back in the saddle for the first time since Arc day at the Berkshire venue and rode a double, having spent this week reflecting on the glory of his win at Chantilly and gratefully feeding Enable polo mints at John Gosden's Clarehaven yard in Newmarket.
Dettori became the most successful jockey in the history of the Arc, first run almost a century ago, when Enable powered to a fifth successive Group One victory in the French showpiece.
"I think they have ran out of polos in Newmarket," he told Racing UK. "I’ve given her lots of them - she’s special. I’m still on a high. I’ve watched the race numerous times, I will never get fed up of it.
"Racegoers around the world have given her a massive reputation and she has delivered a massive performance.
"That furlong and a half kick was breath-taking, I think even I was completely taken. For a stayer that has a kick like that and can maintain it, it’s just incredible. I’m just stuck for words to say how good she is."
Enable has finished for the season and it has yet to be decided whether Prince Khalid Abdullah, her owner, will keep her in training next year.
"Of course I hope she stays in training," Dettori said, with a degree of understatement.
At Newmarket on Saturday, Dettori and Gosden could combine for more Group One glory with Persuasive in the Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes.
"She’s got every chance," Dettori said. "We were drawn nine of ten in the Matron and I was a little further back than I wanted to be, I had to go around the outside and I wasn’t beaten far.
"She’s in great form. We’ve got to race with the same horses so we haven’t got much to find on form, so I expect a big run.
"She’s not a penalty kick, like Enable, she will have to run at her very best. We think we’ve got her in good shape and I expect a good run."
