Three Pikes has been placed in all three outings in maiden hurdles, and this handicap looks a good opportunity for him to break his maiden over obstacles. 

This six-year-old has already won a bumper, and seemed to find the step up to almost 2m4f too far for him last time when finishing third at Uttoxeter. He should be better suited dropping down in trip here.

Jockey Rian Corcoran is really catching the eye, and should be on everybody’s list of claimers to note in 2026, and a handy 7lb allowance gives Three Pikes even more appeal.

It was a quite remarkable effort by All In You to be beaten just a head by Dance And Glance at Ascot last time as he came from a long way off the pace plus blundered at the last, which halted his momentum. 

That was his stable debut for Warren Greatrex and, as a lightly-raced six-year-old, he remains open to plenty of improvement. The high cruising speed and sharp turn of foot he displayed at Ascot should also serve him well on ground that isn't going to be testing. 

I'm confident a 4lb rise for that effort leaves him a fair way ahead of his mark, and hopefully the likes of Continuance and Nardaran set a strong enough pace for him to be seen to good effect.
