This nine-furlong trip is probably a minimum for Truth Be Told but his numbers have been so eye-catching that we are loathe to ignore him.

He’s had the best Finishing Speed Percentage in five of his past six starts, again putting in great late work in a hot handicap at Leopardstown last time when he had little chance the way things unfolded.

His connections clearly believe he hads a bigger day in him as they had him in the Cumberland Lodge earlier this week before deciding to head here. I'm hoping Billy Lee does not sit too far off the leaders here.

Ice Jet opened his account over fences in emphatic fashion last time out, and with the prospect of an easy lead, he can strike again, particularly because he is a bold jumper with the best RaceiQ Jump Index in the race (7.9).

He has more potential than any of his exposed rivals, too, and can make all the running to score.

Took a big step forward when only narrowly denied on his handicap debut last time out and should be capable of winning a race of this nature.

He's my nap of the day on Sunday.

I also fancy Kalpana to win the Arc. She's an improved mare this season plus has a decent draw this time. She looks the best of the British raiders, and I'm therefore siding with her in the French showpiece.

This six-year-old could be a serious prospect over fences, and goes chasing after only three hurdle runs.

Highbury See See won this race last year off a rating of 74 and returns off the same mark in good form after an eye-catching effort at Listowel last time out where he was poorly placed plus repeatedly denied a run in a steadily-run handicap.

The predicted ease in the ground will suit him, given that his best form has been on softer ground. He looks sure to go well again in this apprentice handicap.
