1.20 Ayr: Spoken Truth
Tipster: Dave Nevison.
Best odds: 6-1.
Spoken Truth has run pretty consistently all Summer, but was always likely to come good in the Autumn when faced with softer ground.
The Horse Watchers-owned Frankel gelding duly won at Ripon last time out on soft ground and, even though he is back up 5lb, he will remain competitive.
Danny Tudhope is a strong jockey booking, and the tongue tie that worked last time is on again.
2.30 Ayr: Desert Falcon
Tipster: Andy Stephens.
Best odds: 9-1.
Front-running Desert Falcon makes each-way appeal in the Ladbrokes Ayr Silver Cup.
Julie Camacho’s six-year-old has terrific gate speed. RaceiQ has 19 of his races in its database and he's been fastest to 20mph on six occasions.
He is only 2lb higher than when beaten a neck in the Gold Cup 12 months, having won at the meeting 12 months before.
His sixth in the Portland last weekend, when fading late on, also needs an upgrade as he was and a bit keen in a first-time visor apparently struck into. His usual cheekpieces are back on this time.

This four-year-old clocked some impressive RaceiQ data when a fast-finishing second at York in May, an effort that can be upgraded significantly given he raced away from the main action, and couldn't quite reel in the winner from his unfavourable position to defy a 10lb rise.
He looked a potential Group horse in a handicap prior to that when bolting up on the Knavesmire on his final start last year, and clearly relishes some give underfoot.
It is therefore worth forgiving his below-par efforts on his past two outings (both on good to firm ground), despite still performing with credit in defeat in both the Wokingham, and the Hackwood Stakes when last seen.
The selection finally gets his favoured conditions again on Saturday, and stall two should not be a hinderance, so looks to have plenty in his favour. It's also worth noting he holds a Group One entry, which suggests connections believe he is better than this level.
TWO MORE TIPS FOR SATURDAY
2.25 Newmarket: Kiniro (each-way)
Tipster: Martin Dixon.
Best odds: 16-1.
Trainer Dan Horsford has done well with his small team this year, and Kiniro is well treated now on the pick of his efforts in the summer, including when second at Newbury off 3lb higher in June.
His latest outing is easy to ignore as he had a wide trip around Kempton, and didn't settle without cover. He shouldn't have any such problems this time back on a straight track in what looks set to be a strongly-run race.
He'll need a little bit of luck in running, but remains unexposed over this trip, and if the gaps come at the right time, I think he's as well handicapped as any of these.
2.47 Newbury: Boyfriend
Tipster: RaceiQ nap of the day (Andy Stephens).
Best odds: 4-1.

Boyfriend won in a time 1.49sec quicker than the RaceiQ Par at Sandown in May and the form has been franked, notably by the fourth-placed Raammee.
He has since been a desperately unlucky loser at Goodwood and Salisbury, meeting trouble in running on both occasions. He had the best Finishing Speed Percentage in those races despite his travails and won at this meeting three years ago.
The general 9-2 makes plenty of appeal, while earlier on the card I'll be with Redorange in the sprint.
