Enable and Marsha set to star at Newmarket Open Weekend

Enable and Marsha will be two of the stars on show at this year's 32Red Newmarket Open Weekend.
The John Gosden-trained Enable, a dual Classic winner and favourite for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, and Sir Mark Prescott's star sprinter Marsha are due to be put through their paces on Warren Hill Gallops at 8am on Sunday, with 18 trainers set to open their doors from 9am until 12.30pm.
Roger Varian, Ed Dunlop, Luca Cumani and James Fanshawe are some of the big-name handlers taking part, with Charlie Appleby's Godolphin yard also open to the public from 10am.
Michael Bell is another trainer who will be welcoming visitors, with Ascot Gold Cup hero Big Orange set to parade.
Sunday afternoon entertainments will feature the Waitrose Stable Staff Games, Stable Staff vs Martin Collins Jockeys & Trainers Football Match and Clipper Logistics Racing Personality Show Jumping Competition.

ITV Racing presenters Oli Bell and Francesca Cumani will star respectively in the football and showjumping events. Bell will be joined by trainer Charlie Fellowes in goal and jockey Ryan Tate up front, while Cumani will be up against champion jockey-elect Silvestre De Sousa, Josephine Gordon and James Doyle.The Open Weekend kicks off on Saturday with tours of Newmarket's integral equine sites - equine hospitals, British Racing School, Tattersalls, National Stud, Jockey Club Rooms and National Heritage Centre - available alongside a Food and Drink Festival over the two days.
Funds raised will be split between Racing Welfare's Newmarket Housing Project, the Newmarket Day Centre and Newmarket Academy's Social Mobility Fund.
Tickets cost £5 on Saturday and £15 on Sunday, although children under 18 are free both days.
