Betting expert Dave Nevison has two fancies for Wednesday's meeting at Kempton Park - live on Racing TV
7.10 Kempton: Dubai Beach
Dubai Beach is the sort of lightly0raced older horse that Saeed bin Suroor has done very well with over many seasons and might be ready to break his maiden in this older horse handicap.
Clearly fragile, he was far too free last time at Wolverhampton when he reappeared over too short a trip last time. Hopefully he will settle better on Wednesday evening in a race that is certain to be run at a pace.
He is back over a mile here and, over this course and distance, he ran his best race when he was second to a useful type who is now winning races off 89. A mark of 70 suggests Dubai Beach could be very well treated if he arrives here in good shape.
8.40 Kempton: Monkmoor Pip
Monkmoor Pip’s form figures might not be the most inspiring and he was sold for just £1,000 out of Hugo Palmer’s yard last summer.
However, he definitely showed promise on his first appearance for the Moore yard last time out on what was his first run for 13 months. He travelled like a well handicapped horse until presumably a lack of fitness told in a race which has already produced a next time out winner.
He has been given a month to get over that and, if he improves for that run, he can show himself to be a well handicapped horse for his new and bang in form yard who have sent out four winners and three seconds from the last ten runners.
