4.10 Leicester: Charencey
Charencey has a win and two excellent seconds at this track in his form book - so is clearly suited by Leicester - and I think he can finally take advantage of a slipping mark here.
His recent comeback effort suggested he needed the run, but it definitely wasn’t devoid of promise. He was fresh and keen after a winter break there, and should be more settled now, plus he races off his lowest ever handicap mark, so is certainly well enough weighted to strike.
He ran well over this trip on plenty of occasions last season, too.
4.30 Bath: Show Biz Kid
Show Biz Kid has never raced in a 0-65 handicap before, and certainly has the ability to run well in better contests than this.
The selection has run creditably on both starts this season, and could easily outclass the opposition here, despite carrying top weight.
He is evidently a little tricky, and difficult to win with, but looks an each-way bet to nothing in this grade. If he doesn’t have to exert himself, his rider could well persuade him to win again.

5.23 Redcar: Mister Sky Blue
Mister Sky Blue was probably finished for the season when his form tailed off towards the end of last season, and he definitely seemed to show the benefit of having a break when he reappeared recently.
The four-year-old finished an excellent second over this course and distance, and a repeat of that effort would be good enough to score here.
He improved to win on his second start last season, and has a decent amateur on board. He's my nap of the day on Tuesday.
