Our betting expert has set his sights on cracking three successive races on the card, which you can watch live on Racing TV.

7.00 Hamilton: Thetheoryofeverything

This field features plenty of horses on a roll but I am happy to take a chance, at a price, on Thetheoryofeverything on his second run after a wind operation.
He ran well on his first run for David O’Meara at Newmarket on his reappearance but declined markedly on his next two runs. He came back from a two-month break last time and was beaten eight lengths into fifth, but he wasn’t given a hard time.
I am hopeful he will have gained confidence, and possibly fitness. The trip is ideal, and he has fared well with the draw in stall 1. In addition, the handicapper has finally begun to relent, dropping him 3lb for the Chester run.
O’Meara is excellent in getting results with these older horses from other yards and I am very confident it won’t be long before he clicks with this four-year-old.

7.30 Hamilton: Iris Dancer

Iris Dancer is a Hamilton specialist and has been up and down this track more than a few times in recent years.
It may seem unlikely, but I believe he might be an improved sprinter recently and that he might be able to land this competitive handicap.
He won away from this track on his penultimate start at Carlisle and last time gave it a good go in a strong handicap at.
The six-year-old is at the top end of his handicap range and has never won above a mark of 70, but on his latest run looks very much as though he has it in him.
Tristan Davidson has his team in good form and if Iris Dancer is going to land a competitive sprint such as this, then it will more than likely be at Hamilton.

8.00 Hamilton: Reveal

This is only a 0-55 handicap but surprisingly competitive for the grade.
However, Reveal looks to have finally dropped to a winnable mark judged by a short head second over course and distance last time out.
He started off this year running well off a mark of 72 on the all-weather in February but his form tailed off until he was tried in blinkers last time out, when hr ran his best race off this 15lb lower mark.
