Dave Nevison has been in winning form this week and a selection in the Cesarewitch is among his four fancies across Newmarket and York on Saturday, all live on Racing TV.

2.05 York: Erzindjan
Erzindjan has been placed twice in top-grade handicaps this season, and was sent off at massive prices on both occasions, but was only beaten due to being on the wrong side of the track in the bet365 Cambridgeshire last time out.
He “won” his race on the near side by almost six lengths, but only finished fourth, so he certainly deserves to win a valuable contest this season, and this represents a real opportunity for him.
Terry Kent’s charge will certainly not go off at a big price after his recent efforts. However, given how far he might have won by last time with a different draw, a raise of just a pound could have let Erzindjan in lightly here.
3.15 York: Northern Ticker
Things went wrong at Ayr last time out for Northern Ticker, who was drawn on the wrong side of the track and behind for most of the way. He still made excellent progress to finish sixth, though, without getting close enough to challenge.
I have already backed a winner this week (Woven) that met a similar fate at Ayr, and I strongly beliee that the run can be written off. Now that
Northern Ticker is returning to York, and 2lb lower than his Ayr exertions, things could be different this time.
He has looked to be a progressive sprinter this season and with stall seven also appearing favourable, he has a good chance to regain winning form.
3.40 Newmarket: Beylerbeyi
Willie Mullins and other Irish jumps trainers are going to play a massive part in this year's Club Godolphin Cesarewitch Handicap, which is regularly the case these days.
However, I do believe the home contingent might see them off this time, and Ian Williams, probably our best trainer of a staying handicapper, may be the one to land the prize.
Beylerbeyi is undoubtedly well handicapped running off a 3lb lower mark than last time out at Newbury. He was beaten into third that day but definitely should have won, and was given far too much to do in the straight.
Billy Loughnane rides on Saturday and Williams has applied the hood for the first time on Beylerbeyi (probably to help the horse relax on his way to the start), which I think is a positive move.
Given the trainers record in this type of race, I am happy with the decision to step him up in trip by half a mile, and if it brings out further improvement, the selection should go well.
4.30 York: Trojan Sun
Trojan Sun met a rival who had clearly been aimed at the race for some time at Ayr last time out, and did well to finish second behind Just Dottie.
He is 4lb higher now but the excellent Lauren Young, who won on Trojan Sun in the summer, is back on board for the first time in five starts, and takes off a valuable 7lb again.
Young has been one of the most eye-catching apprentices of the season and will have no problem steering this consistent type around York, so a good run looks assured.
