Saturday tips: Dave Nevison fancies an 18-1 chance in the William Hill Hurdle

Top tipster Dave Nevison fancies an 18-1 chance in Newbury's William Hill Hurdle, plus has two selections from Warwick on Saturday - live on Racing TV.

1.35 Newbury: Below The Radar
Below The Rader seemed to appreciate the return to hurdles last time after he had fallen on his chasing debut and put up the best performance of his career.
He finished a good second in a big field at Haydock and looked very much as though he was a real stayer, so he might well welcome this step up to three miles.
I am very strong on Freddie Keighley claiming 7lb and am waiting for him to deliver on one of my selections, but the weight allowance will certainly be a positive in this heavy ground slog and I don’t believe I will be waiting too much longer.
3.20 Newbury: The Hardest Geezer
The three horses at the top of the market are entwined in form lines and very difficult to separate. Any of them could win, but with bookies obviously offering extra places here I feel it might well be simpler to go for an each-way chance with a bit of a squeak.
The Hardest Geezer might not be as robust as his name implies, but if he could just put it all together, he might well have a big handicap in him.
He travels well and will be suited by the strong pace here, and he could easily stay on for a place based on most of his runs this season. His yard is in particularly good form and has already had a winner in February.
3.35 Warwick: Homme D’Un Soir
The handicapper has yo yo’ed in his opinion of Homme D’Un Soir after two runs this season. He raised him a harsh looking 3lb after a very promising reappearance at Huntingdon recently, but then dropped him a generous 5lb immediately after a lesser run last time at Ludlow where he still ran okay to be fourth.
Billy Aprahamian has his string in decent form with a couple of winners from his past ten runners and he managed to get three winners out of this gelding last season, including a victory on soft ground.
The ten-year-old is down to a mark just 3lb higher than his latest win and he can get back on the winning trail in a winnable race.
4.10 Warwick: Fingle Bridge
Fingle Bridge has been placed in three recent runs over fences, but his jumping hasn’t really cut it and it is no massive surprise Olly Murphy has sent him back over hurdles.
The gelding won all his three starts over the smaller obstacles last season, culminating in a Listed win at Exeter last February. The race he won was a very strong one, he beat a subsequent Grade One hurdle winner and had this season's Greatwood Hurde winner well beaten off.
It looks as though Fingle Bridge could be extremely well-handicapped for this return to hurdles and, providing chasing hasn’t taken the edge off him, he could well be set to score.
