Website tipster Dave Nevison struck with 5-1 winner Alfred Boucher on Wednesday and marks your card for day two of the Sky Bet Ebor Festival at York on Thursday.
Ladies Day at York’s Sky Bet Ebor Festival looks a very tricky one for me, with only a couple of handicaps to get stuck into.
However, I will be very disappointed if both my selections in those races do not go very close and I believe the week’s ‘good thing’ runs in the finale!

Has been hammering at the door in recent outings and has lots in his favour here, so has a real chance of winning a decent handicap he thoroughly deserves.
However, he still needs luck in running in these big fields, and definitely hasn’t had that the past twice when beaten a neck off this mark over course and distance on his penultimate start and then not getting the gaps when runner-up in the Golden Mile at Glorious Goodwood.
Blue For You has a good draw in stall one and should be able to hold a decent position when coming out of the dog leg turn into the straight. His jockey and trainer are in excellent form, too, and I am hoping this is the day when everything goes right for him.

The Galtres Stakes is the type of race I usually shy away from betting in because it contains a whole host of lightly-raced improvers, but Golden Lyra does look a very solid option having finished a really good second in a Listed event on just her second start.
That run is her only defeat so far and it came after a seven-month absence, so she may well have needed the run slightly.
She certainly showed the benefit of that outing last time out when scoring easily at Kempton and that victory came over this trip, which now looks ideal for her.
If she wins here, she could be a very interesting filly this Autumn.
It’s no surprise that that William Haggas has what is perhaps the handicap blot of the week and Queen Aminatu will be a warm order here given she is due to go up 6lb from Saturday.
She’s lightly-raced filly who only made her debut last December, and she scored twice in lower grades earlier this year before she contested an unusually competitive Listed event at Sandown that she wasn’t ready for.
She reverted to handicap company at Haydock last time out and should definitely have got back on the winning trail, but was consistently blocked in the final two furlongs and just couldn’t claw back the useful winner.
Queen Aminatu may well be up to Listed class in the future but, off bottom weight here, she is certainly my idea of a 'good thing'.
