This eight-year-old has been well prepared for his return to action after missing a season and has run creditably on both outings this year.
He improved from his reappearance last time out when narrowly beaten in an Apprentice Handicap at Newbury, and Ben Brookhouse's team are generally running well at the moment.
The highly-capable Fern O’Brien has been booked for the ride, and she claims a handy 3lb here. It is also interesting that Lucky’s Dream has several entries in the coming days, so is clearly thought to be in form, and might be expected to defy a penalty in a similar event at Nottingham on Saturday, if he wins this.

Was probably entered to get the owners' badges at Royal Ascot last time out, and was well beaten in the Palace of Holyroodhouse Stakes.
He is back in a more appropriate grade here, and might get rewarded for his recent consistency.
I would be concerned if the going turned soft but, on the forecast good ground, this front-runner looks to have a good chance of making all as he has habitual slow starters around him.
The selection was a good second on his penultimate start in a slightly higher grade at Windsor, and is still quite lightly raced for a sprint handicapper, so may have more progress left in him.
He has never run at Epsom, but very few of local trainer Brett Johnson’s fail to act act this track, and Rocking Ends should hopefully reward each-way support.
Pat Phelan’s mare is only very modest, but is a real trier, and I am hopeful that a 3lb pull with Cloudy Mover on their last running might be enough to turn things around plus enable Iconic Mover to finally break her maiden.
She may have fared better with the draw in stall three than her rival who is drawn out wide in stall 12 this time, too. Iconic Mover doesn't appear ground dependant and a good run seems certain, with no concerns about the track based upon how well she ran at Brighton when last seen.
