Dave Nevison's horse racing tips: Best bets for Tuesday

Trying to find bets for Tuesday’s racing action has proved difficult, but I am hoping two fancied runners can complete a quick across-the-card double at Sedgefield and Southwell to get the week off to a good start. Best of luck, and please remember to gamble responsibly.
Is proving expensive for punters but is clearly in pretty good form and his defeats the last twice look to be down to him being left with far too much to do.
With different jockeys claiming in this contest, Baraboy, who beat Lord Caprio last time, is actually better off at the weights, but he was a fortunate winner and I would definitely side with the much younger contender to win, with a more judicious ride.
Lord Caprio is 7lb higher than when he returned to winning form in a 0-115 handicap three outings ago but is still 10lb lower than when he first ran in a handicap hurdle in March.
Ben Haslam has his string in very good form, and this does seem like a good opportunity for his six-year-old.
Ran his best race against a rival in excellent form last time and while he woud probably never have beat Imphal, who is showing himself very strong in a finish and scored again at Huntingdon on Saturday, he made Gary Moore’s horse pull out all the stops which was a sterling effort on his first outing for four months.
He could well improve for that, and he certainly gets this trip plus Nicky Henderson had three winners on the big stage at Ascot on Friday and Saturday, and is operating at a strike-rate of 24 per cent.
Was drawn eight when trying to lead at Chelmsford last time and didn’t end up being beaten too far, despite weakening close home after her early exertions.
However, she has landed the plum draw in stall one on Tuesday which, surprisingly, will be her first visit to Wolverhampton, a course that I would expect to suit her very well.
Provided she doesn’t overdo things in a battle for the early lead, she might last home this time.
Jessica Macey’s yard seem to be populated mainly by modest sprint handicapper’s, but they are in cracking form at present and a good run can be expected.
