Our pundit and resident website tipster Dave Nevison likes the look of three runners at Bath on Tuesday. Enjoy live coverage from Punchestown and Gowran Park live with us on Racing TV.

3.50 Bath: Platinum Prince

He is the only runner on the card for the in-form Gary Moore and the trainer clearly sees this as the right race for him.

Platinum Prince won in January and ran a really good second to be beaten narrowly on his only other start this year. He doesn’t need to improve on those efforts to land this prize and the form of his placed runs at Brighton and Epsom last year would be good enough.

Rhys Clutterbuck rides Bath well and looks a good booking for this five-year-old, who is a much-improved performer on turf since the last time the jockey teamed up with this horse back in May last year.

4.20 Bath: Charlie’s Yard

It is difficult to see him getting beaten if he is in the same form as last time.

Charlie’s Yard didn’t cut it for Emmet Mullins, though he did show a tiny bit on his last start for the yard in a juvenile hurdle. He arrived at David Evans’ with a long string of zeroes next to his name and a basement handicap mark and was backed off the boards to land a low-grade Kempton handicap in pretty impressive style.

He has clearly taken to his new surroundings OK and appreciated that longer trip last time. He is switched to turf and goes down in trip slightly now, but he’s only running off a 5lb-higher mark and this is actually a lower-grade handicap than the Kempton race.

4.55 Bath: Harry The Norseman

If he does run as well as last time Harry The Norseman should win this.

He won over hurdles last season before losing his form for Paul Webber, but put up a really good performance back on the Flat on his first appearance for Louise Allan last time. He was an 80-1 shot on that occasion and most of the trainer’s runners go off at big prices, but a closer look reveals she had a winner in April and most of her runners perform as well as can be expected - if not better.

Harry The Norseman has put up his best performances after a break and the trainer’s job now is to get him to hold his form after that good run.
