The German raider Stingray completed his hat-trick in the Italian Group Two at San Siro, with Venetian Prince doing best of the British in third.
The Marcel Weiss-trained five-year-old was always travelling well under Dario Di Tocco and was able to pick up the long-time leader Global Health - who ran a cracker in second - in the closing stages.
The Andrew Balding-trained Venetian Prince was held up off what looked just a modest gallop, but did well to stay on for third, ahead of Dubai Honour and Constitution Hill who shared a photograph for fourth, with the William Haggas runner getting the verdict.
Constitution Hill, who was ridden by Rossa Ryan for the first time, did rally well in the closing stages but never looked like playing a hand in the finish.
His trainer Nicky Henderson said: “He’s run a great race. He's got bags of pace. It's just the last 100 yards where he wasn't going to finish off, and he wasn't going to win from there. But he came into the race with the winner and he’s travelled really well.
“Slower ground might just help him a little bit. Both Oisin [Murphy] and Ryan [Moore] have said don't go further than a mile and a half and I think we could afford to come back on a trip too, especially on some slower ground.”
Henderson added: “We're going to hunt down the Paris programme book. I think we'll try to get him to run before the end of the year again on some proper soft ground.
“This was his first proper outing since Kempton, which was a prep for something. Overall, it's been tremendous. He's run with great credit and we'll see where we go next.”
