Charlie Fellowes targeting Dubai Gold with Prince Of Arran

Charlie Fellowes has earmarked an outing in the Dubai Gold Cup as a potential long-term target for Prince Of Arran.
The Newmarket handler intends to send the four-year-old to Dubai early next year in a bid to try to get his career back on track ahead of a possible tilt at the Group Two prize.
Since finishing second in a Group Three at Ascot in May, the son of Shirocco has been well held in each of his last four starts, most recently in a conditions contest at Salisbury on Friday.
Fellowes said: "Prince Of Arran is going to go to Dubai as the quick ground will suit him well. I've not seen the programme book, but I would say he will go out there for three months with the Gold Cup on World Cup Night the plan.
"He didn't like the soft ground at Salisbury, but we needed to find that out and the only way to do that was to run him in a race he should have won where the ground was a question mark.
"He ran in hot races at Goodwood and York and we didn't know if it was the ground or not, but after Salisbury we know he doesn't want soft ground."
An outing in the Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup at Ascot on October 21 could be on the cards for Ooty Hill.
The son of Dubawi has not been seen in action since making his final start for Roger Charlton in a Group Three at Newmarket in October 2015.
Fellowes added: "He has had his issues, but he has done two or three pieces of work and is in the Long Distance Cup. Whether that comes too soon, I am not sure."
