Challow Hurdle at Newbury to be sponsored by MansionBet for next two years

Online sports betting operator, MansionBet, has today announced their sponsorship of the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle and supporting card on Tuesday 29 December 2020 at Newbury Racecourse, in a two-year deal which forms part of a wider partnership with the racecourse and includes support of the MansionBet Spring Cup in 2021.
Having extended their sponsorship to include over 60 events throughout the UK and Ireland in 2020, MansionBet have continued to show their support for British racing, ending the year in association with Newbury Racecourse.
The Grade 1 MansionBet Challow Hurdle for novices’ first ran in 1971 and boasts a distinguished roll of honour with many going on to further greatness including; Denman, Wichita Lineman, Diamond Harry, Fingal Bay, Barters Hill and more recently, Champ and Thyme Hill.
Lara Johnston, Sponsorship Manager for Newbury Racecourse said: “2020 has been naturally very challenging for many and we are incredibly grateful for partners such as MansionBet who have supported us during behind-closed-doors racing. Challow Hurdle Day is one of our most popular racedays of the year and MansionBet are a perfect partner for the festive event. It is even more positive that this year we are able to welcome back a limited crowd to enjoy the live action.

In addition to signing the MansionBet Challow Hurdle Day for the next two years, the online sportsbook will also sponsor two other racedays in 2021 at Newbury, including the MansionBet January Afternoon Racing on Wednesday 20 January, and the popular MansionBet Spring Cup which forms part of Newbury’s flat season opener, the Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials weekend.
